Why You Should Be Bolder

Just like in Richard Branson’s book, Screw it: Let’s do it, being bold is an important life lesson that we need to learn.

It is something that most of us take for granted and just brush aside because we don’t understand the importance of it.

This is including me myself. Being bolder and transitioning from a shy person to a bold person can change your life for the better.

You will be more able to take a risk and go out of your comfort zone.

Increase In Confidence

When you think about what others think of you, you will realise that a lot of people are too busy thinking about themselves than you.

Once you realise that, your confidence will increase as you are becoming bolder and more appreciative of yourself.

You are more likely able to achieve your goal because you will believe in yourself more and believe that you can do it.

The more you say that you can do it to yourself, the more your brain believes that what you are saying is true.

Therefore, your brain will find ways to make what you are saying is true in reality.

Gives You A Voice

Bold people do not have to be loud or boisterous to be able to say something wants to say and speaking up for what they believe in.

The important thing here is that bold people know when and how they should speak up.

Boldness can help you build your business and brand especially when it comes to marketing.

This is because having a voice and knowing how to speak and talk to people about your brand can have such a significant impact.

For example, you may be able to have most clients and customers and even attract investors, which would help you expand your business.

Attracts Visionaries

Being bold increases your confidence, meaning that you can put yourself out there and attract investors and other individuals who can change your life and business for the better.

Being bold and putting yourself out there can help you meet people who will support you and help you expand your brand.

It’s exciting

Being bold means that you set out your goals and visions first.

When you are taking action and making attempts to pursue our visions, it is exciting and fun.

Therefore, every day will seem like an adventure and very exciting.

Boldness enhances your motivation, which makes it easier for you to go through those tough and difficult times.

Helps You Take Life Less Seriously

Boldness can help you stop putting an unnecessary amount of pressure on yourselves.

We tend to take things way too seriously almost to an extent where we think of it as a life or death moment.

We need to understand that it is not a life or death moment and that one decision that we make in our work or career isn’t always going to change our lives.

We need to stop being a bit too over-dramatic.

For me, I can say that I take exams and tests too seriously. I used to act like not doing as well as I wanted to in my exam was shameful.

This later led to me stressing and over-studying just to get the best grades I could ever get.

And I am sure that I am not the only one who was struggling with this too.

However, as I am growing older day by day and becoming more mature, I’ve realised just how ridiculous I was and how I did need to calm down and relax.

Your Fears Will Vanish

When you are bold, you are more likely able to face your fears because you will have the courage and confidence.

Value Failure

Bold people understand that from failure they can make greater successes by using failure to their advantage.

They turn every failure into a learning opportunity so that they will make the same mistake again.

In Conclusion…

There is a strong distinction between being bold and careless.

Bold people are self-aware.

This means that they know when they should take a risk or a bold move and when they shouldn’t.

They take the pros and cons into account when they are thinking about taking a risk.

However, careless people do not, so in a way bold people tend to think smart.
